All reservoir parts are manufactured by our C.N.C. (computer numerically controlled) router tables. This gives us the ability to meet the most demanding time schedule, with precision quality.
Wood is the the optimal material to withstand the effects of radiation produced from our HID (High Intensity Discharge) light bulbs. The structure and design is light tight allowing nothing to grow inside the reservoir. Due to the efficiency of the system and the nutrients we use, we do not experience salt build-up.
We use the finest A/C, no void plywood, paired with T-88 structural epoxy for all joints, and full interior filleting. Everything is hand applied and quality inspected making our reservoirs in service for decades.
The interior of the reservoir is treated with 2 separate coats of M.A.S. marine epoxy going on 12 hours apart. The exterior is coated with Smiths penetrating epoxy. The result creates the only true vapor barrier known to man with a useful life of decades.
Our benches are stadium arranged, (outside benches are taller than middle bench).
This creates a trough for the light to travel through with the bulb lower then the outside flower tops. The pots can be moved while watering.
As the plants grow the benches are moved out, keeping the plants as close to the light as possible.
Ebb & Flood Container
The creation of a top fill, single plant, Ebb/Flood container has helped solve many of the problems people face using tables for Ebb/Flood hydroponics. Water evaporation, salt buildup, and high humidity are things of the past now.
By placing the flow restrictor in the drain tube on the bottom of the container, we control how fast the water evacuates the container. Slowing the outflow allows the container to fill while circulating fresh nutrients through the root zone, constantly flushing the roots when watering. Water depth in the container is set automatically by the overflow at the top of the plant container.
